Envirovigil has launched a new scheme called Nisarg to encourage students to conduct research.  Five groups of students will be given a sum of ten thousand rupees each as scholarship, under this scheme. Each group should comprise of maximum five students who have passed S.S.C. examinations and belong to any educational streams. The duration of the project will be of six months.  The research will pertain to current environmental issues. It is open to the students of Thane city and Thane districts.

    Research proposals are being evaluated by a panel of judges. The students will be taught basic principles of research methodology. They will get guidance from the experts in the field during their research project.
